Embodied Vinyasa brings together the strength and energy of a traditional Vinyasa practice with a more mindful approach to movement. This class offers an opportunity to challenge yourself physically while paying attention to how your body feels along the way.
At Total Being Yoga, we believe a strong practice doesn't have to mean pushing past your limits. Embodied Vinyasa encourages you to move with intention, connect with your breath, and build strength and resilience while staying present in your body.
Embodied Vinyasa is a moderate to fast-paced flow that combines dynamic transitions, strength-building postures, and intentional breathwork. You'll move through flowing sequences designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall body awareness. Along the way, your instructor will incorporate grounding techniques, nervous system awareness, and opportunities to notice how your body responds to movement and effort.
While the practice can be physically challenging, the emphasis is on moving with awareness rather than rushing through postures. You'll be encouraged to find a balance between effort and ease, building confidence in your body while respecting what it needs.
Embodied Vinyasa is a great fit for students who enjoy an active yoga practice and want to explore the connection between physical movement and mindful awareness. If you're looking to build strength, improve mobility, and challenge yourself while developing a better understanding of your body, this class offers plenty of opportunities to do so.
Some familiarity with Vinyasa or flowing yoga is helpful, as the class moves at a moderate to faster pace with dynamic transitions. Options are offered throughout the practice, allowing students to adjust the intensity as needed.
Embodied Vinyasa meets Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM with Morgan.
